About the role: The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of SAP S/4HANA technical delivery, ensuring a structured and risk-mitigated transition from legacy systems within the SAP Activate Methodology framework.

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of SAP S/4HANA technical delivery within the SAP Activate Methodology framework.
Job Details
  • Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Technical Project Manager
  • Contract Duration: 16 Month + possible extension
  • Location: Brisbane CBD (Hybrid work)
Required Skills and Competencies
  • 10+ years demonstrated and extensive relevant experience leading large-scale SAP technical projects, ideally with hands-on involvement in S/4HANA implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system integration, data migration, and infrastructure planning.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology and agile project delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to mitigate technical risks and ensure high system availability and performance during transitions.
  • Experience leading platform management projects across large multi-release SAP Transformations.
  • Experience in the implementation and release of SAP RISE platforms.
  • Experience in the implementation and release of SAP SuccessFactors and Employee Central (EC) platforms.
  • Other implementation experience for SAP Cloud platform-based products viewed favourably.
  • An operating understanding of SAP Solman, CHaRM and SAP transport management highly regarded.
  • A robust practical understanding of enterprise release management practices.
  • Experience in large infrastructure implementation projects favourable.
  • Experience in the sourcing of platform services, platform services supplier management and development of services agreements.
