Greencross Fairy Meadow is a unique site with incredible opportunities for a vet looking to take their career to the next level. Located in Wollongong, our modern facility features 9 huge consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, CT imaging, DR radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ICU, 3 theatres, a dedicated dental and endoscopy room, Tonovet plus, in-house pathology equipment. The ARH (Animal Referral Hospital) Wollongong operates an emergency service from the same building every weeknight and all weekend, providing 24-hour care with seamless handover and varied caseload.

Our manager has been at the practice for over a decade and team wellness is a top priority. We are proud of our new Veterinary Director who brings calm leadership and mentoring to our team. We also provide enriching continuing education programs, 5 weeks of annual & study leave, and mental health first aid courses. As part of the Greencross community, our education, leadership, and development programs are world-class.

Qualifications
  • Applicants must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or similar examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au
