Overview

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant to join our DNA team. As a Senior Consultant you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data solutions, build and maintain an entire data stack that includes a wide variety of integrations that ingest data, a data warehouse, a pipeline of data transformations, and several services that push data into other tools. You will also be responsible for building resilient, secure high-performance infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT processes from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, data lake, databricks technologies, and contributing to high-end innovative technological solutions with the client to develop data and AI led initiatives for transformation. You would be involved in the execution and delivery of such engagements, playing a key role.

Location: Sydney/ Melbourne

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality data solutions and build/maintain a data stack including data ingestion, data warehouse, data transformations, and services that push data into other tools.
  • Build resilient, secure, high-performance infrastructure for ETL/ELT processes from diverse data sources using SQL, data lake, and Databricks technologies.
  • Contribute to innovative data and AI-led transformation initiatives with the client.
  • Engage in the execution and delivery of engagements as a key team member.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or R with experience in data processing pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure.
  • Experience with data ingestion tools like Fivetran, Stitch, Matillion.
  • Strong scripting (Bash) and data pipeline/workflow tools (Airflow, Azkaban).
  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra) and cloud services (AWS EMR, Azure HDInsight, Google Cloud Dataproc).
  • Strong SQL and database design skills; ability to write clean, efficient, well-documented code.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with CI/CD and automated testing; working with Git.
  • Ability to mentor data engineers and lead projects; stay updated with big data trends.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
