- Identify and mitigate procurement risks with confidence and foresight.
- Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment while maintaining a strong customer and stakeholder focus.
- Contribute to strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and successfully managing change with lasting impacts.
We are looking for someone who will :
- Provide expert procurement advice and strategic direction, driving a performance-focused, innovative, and customer-centric procurement culture.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with stakeholders, fostering open communication and transparency, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and procurement policies.
- Analyse market dynamics to shape procurement strategies, especially for complex categories and projects with limited suppliers.
- Lead the development of robust procurement documentation and expert negotiation plans.
- Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, ensuring clear ownership and strong governance of contracts throughout their lifecycle.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with all legislative requirements and uphold public procurement probity and ethics, overseeing major tender processes to deliver successful outcomes.
