About our client

At Outmarket, the team is not just building another AI tool—they are transforming the $1T commercial insurance industry. Their platform helps brokers, MGAs, and carriers unlock insights from their own data and automate key workflows like policy review, quote comparison, and market appetite search.

They are looking for Front-End Engineers with experience in React, Figma, and Cursor, to work alongside an accomplished team of experienced AI and Full Stack Engineers, building products that move fast and scale smart. The selected candidates will collaborate with the co-founders and a team from Meta, IBM, Adobe, and Uber, solving high-impact problems across AI, product, and implementation.

What Makes This Role Different

• You'll focus on delivering intuitive, fast, and scalable front-end experiences using React and Figma—and contribute to a design system used across the platform.
• Outmarket is truly an AI-first team: we code in Cursor, design with Bolt, and collaborate with tools like Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI. AI is embedded not only in our product but also in our infrastructure and day-to-day operations.
• You'll partner closely with Vishal (Co-Founder & CEO, ex-Uber, Meta, Ethos) and Anshu (Co-Founder & CTO, ex-Meta, Ethos, early IBM Watson AI team).
• You'll ship fast and iterate in the field—this isn't a research role; it's AI with outcomes.
• You'll help shape both the product and the customer experience as we scale.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with design and backend teams to bring seamless UI/UX to life using React and designs in Figma.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components and design systems that can scale across customers and use cases.
• Work closely with insurance brokers, MGAs, and carriers to understand and deploy solutions tailored to their workflows.
• Help implement front-end features that interact with AI services like document review, entity extraction, and quote comparison.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on designs and features based on customer feedback.
• Support collaboration across sales, success, and product teams by delivering user-facing features that drive business outcomes.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience building front-end applications using React.
• Proficiency with design tools and handoff workflows (especially Figma).
• Experience coding in Cursor or interest in cutting-edge dev tools.
• Strong product sense and ability to translate complex workflows into clean UI/UX.
• Familiarity working with REST or GraphQL APIs and state management libraries.
• Bias for action, high ownership, and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus If You Have

• Experience working with data-rich or document-heavy interfaces (e.g., insurance policies, quote tables).
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or experience working on LLM-integrated UIs.
• Deep expertise in one or more of: Postgres, React, Python.
• Previous experience with an early-stage startup.
