Responsibilities

Join to apply for a Mental Health Clinician role in the St George Mental Health Service. Work as part of a well-established multidisciplinary team in the Community Mental Health setting. This is a great opportunity to obtain valuable experience in the community setting.

Qualifications and requirements

• Social Worker or Occupational Therapist qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award, current full registration with AHPRA and/or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Psychologist with a four year degree in psychology and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).
• Demonstrated experience in mental health assessment, treatment and management of persons with a mental illness with skills transferable to a community setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to a consumer-focused recovery-oriented approach and consumer collaboration in care planning.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated time management and computer literacy skills.
• Current driver's licence (or willingness to travel).
