What You Need To Excel As a Medical Scribe

Shift Times
  • Monday - Friday
    • 8am - 4pm


  • Monday - Sunday
    • 7am - 3pm
    • 11am - 7pm
    • 10pm - 7am


  • Saturday - Sunday
    • 10am - 6pm
    • 3pm - 11pm
    • 6pm - 1am
    • 7pm - 3am


  • Monday/Wednesday
    • 8am - 4:30pm




Our ideal candidate will be flexible to work a minimum of two 8+ hour shifts per week. Availability may vary and schedule times can change.



Medical Scribe Job Description
  • Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam
  • Document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, medical procedures, treatment plans, medical opinions of consultants, diagnoses, medication/prescription information, and follow-up instructions
  • Navigate the facility computer system and electronic medical record
  • Monitor pending labs and radiology orders for results to help guide patient care
  • Review past history and test results on patients which are critical in driving medical decisions by your provider
  • Adhere to medical facility's compliance requirements and ScribeAmerica's company policies and procedures
