About the role

TheHead of FP&A, Oceania is responsible for leading the FP&A Team which includes business partnering, performance reporting, financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting. You'll report to the Finance Director, Oceania and have regular interaction with finance peers, operations and commercial team members as well as the regional team.

About the role

TheHead of FP&A, Oceania is responsible for leading the FP&A Team which includes business partnering, performance reporting, financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting. You'll report to the Finance Director, Oceania and have regular interaction with finance peers, operations and commercial team members as well as the regional team.

Duties
  • Partnering with Operations and Commercial department heads across Oceania to provide insights on performance results.
  • Delivering the monthly financial close in a timely manner and own the end-to-end processes and review.
  • Producing and presenting core management reporting ensuring that business drivers of performance are clearly understood.
  • Leading the development of detailed budget and financial forecasts for use in Global, Regional, Country and Business Unit Planning.
  • Supporting the business with financial analysis, customer profitability analysis, cost analysis, and drive corrective actions.
  • Preparing business cases for capital investment, pricing strategy and other business decisions.
  • Applying a continuous improvement mindset to identify processes and reports that require automation.
  • Managing and mentoring the team of Finance Business Partners to assist them with successfully achieving their performance and career goals.
Skills and Experience
  • CA / CPA / CIMA Qualified
  • Proven problem solving and resolution skills in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a high performing team.
  • Flexibility to jump into the detail as required, coordinate competing deliverables, and see the bigger picture.
  • High motivation and passion to excel and grow.
  • Track record of success in Manufacturing or Airline related industries.
  • Professional accountant with 8+ years of post-qualification experience.
