Primary Purpose

The Real Estate Videographer role at SIRAP will join our internal full time crew to deliver stunning and engaging content for our clients; with this role having a focus on real estate clients specifically. This role requires a talented and detail-oriented Videographer specializing in filming and delivering fast turnaround edits for our real estate clients.

As a Real Estate Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage of residential properties for sale and editing the videos to create compelling visual content. Your role will contribute to showcasing properties in their best light and assisting in the marketing efforts of real estate agents and agencies.

In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently filming, editing and delivering high-quality video content within tight deadlines. You will play a vital role in shaping the visual storytelling of real estate properties, crafting visually stunning and engaging content that showcases properties and agents, architecture and design, creating engaging videos that captivate audiences and effectively promote our client's listings, marketing campaigns, product offerings, events, and any other associated brand collateral aligned with our clients' unique brand positioning and tone. You will craft engaging video content through beautifully composed shots, basic animation and motion graphics treatments, transitions and effects, and will be able to confidently contribute ideas and solutions for content distributed across social media. You will feel confident working across multiple projects and clients at once, jumping between filming and editing multiple times a day.

Day to day you will be reporting directly to the Production Coordinator/Account Manager, Managing Producer and Production team, and you will be required to liaise closely with the Founder and Creative Director, internal crew and Producers to advise and update them on the production, to ensure each job is delivered to the highest creative quality, on time, budget and to brief.

You may be client-facing when on set or in the studio, and will be a face of the SIRAP team and must present and conduct yourself in a professional, respectful manner at all times to reflect the SIRAP brand and premium positioning.

Candidates must have a track record of producing professional, premium creative property or architectural videos and a desire to positively contribute to a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a must as is the ability to multitask and work across many projects simultaneously.

You will be based in Melbourne with full time access to a car and have full working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship opportunities will not be considered.

Role requirements

• Filming: Efficiently film properties, composing beautiful shots, capturing key features, layout, and selling points in a time-sensitive manner. Filming interviews with agents or architects, events and other brand-related content for the client, in line with the client's brand positioning and tone.
• Equipment Setup & Maintenance: Quickly set up and operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure optimal video quality while minimizing setup time. Ensure all equipment is well-maintained, organized, and readily available for immediate use, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Composition and Framing: Utilize your expertise in real estate videography to compose visually appealing shots that highlight the property's best features, while working swiftly to maintain productivity.
• Time Management: Capable and confident shooting multiple properties per day, prioritizing tasks and adhering to strict deadlines on shoots to stay on schedule to meet fast turnaround requirements.
• Fast Turnaround Real Estate Property Film Editing: Take raw footage of real estate properties and edit them with speed and efficiency, ensuring quick delivery of final edits. Maintain exceptional attention to detail while working under tight deadlines, ensuring accurate and consistent video quality. Edit footage into captivating films that highlight the property's features, aesthetics, and unique selling points. Utilize creative editing techniques, basic animation and motion graphics techniques to create visually appealing videos that engage potential buyers and showcase the properties effectively.
• Basic Animation and Motion Graphics: Develop and produce basic animation and motion graphics to enhance video content. Utilize software such as Adobe After Effects or similar tools to create simple visual effects, title animations, and other motion graphics elements that complement the video projects.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, to edit and refine video content. Apply technical skills in color correction, audio enhancement, visual effects, animation, and motion graphics to ensure the highest quality output.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on edited videos, animations, and motion graphics to ensure technical accuracy, visual consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Make necessary adjustments and revisions based on feedback and ensure the final product meets the studio's quality standards.
• Client & Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the client or project manager to understand their requirements, address feedback, and ensure alignment with their expectations. Collaborate on revisions and modifications as needed to meet client preferences.
• Continued Learning and Skill Development: Stay updated on the latest video editing, videography, animation, and motion graphics trends, techniques, and software advancements, sharing these with the rest of the team and integrating these into project opportunities. Seek opportunities for professional growth, attend relevant workshops or seminars, and actively contribute ideas to improve editing processes, videography techniques, animation, and motion graphics workflows.
• Commercial Project Editing: Work on various commercial projects, including promotional videos, corporate videos, and advertisements. Apply creative editing techniques to effectively communicate the client's message and capture their brand identity.
• File Management: Organize and maintain an organized library of video assets, project files, and archives. Ensure proper file naming conventions, backup procedures, and efficient storage management to enable easy retrieval and future use.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong background in real estate videography and editing, particularly in fast-paced environments.
• A compelling portfolio that showcases your ability to film and edit real estate videos efficiently, while maintaining high quality and meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in operating video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices. Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, with a focus on speed and efficiency.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, enabling you to thrive in a fast-turnaround environment and deliver outstanding results within strict deadlines.
• A keen eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling to quickly capture and convey the unique features and selling points of properties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with real estate agents, agencies, and team members, ensuring clear project understanding and delivering on client expectations.
• Ability to remain flexible and composed under pressure, adapting quickly to changing priorities and client preferences while maintaining high productivity.
• A professional attitude and appearance, demonstrating the ability to maintain a high level of client service and represent the studio positively, even in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and are able to compromise without impacting the work.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills – confidence conducting interviews on set and liaising with agents
• Hold a current Victorian Driver's License and can travel autonomously with full time access to a car.
• Availability for shoots and editing events outside of normal business hours, including holiday periods and some public holidays, where required.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, flexible, customer-centric, and professional.
• Ability to handle projects even when the brief is incomplete / not all the answers are known to us.
