Base pay range

A$75,000.00/yr - A$90,000.00/yr

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer, committed to producing high-quality, safe, and delicious products for customers across Australia. Their focus on continuous improvement ensures they consistently meet industry standards and exceed customer expectations.

About the Role:

The business is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Officer. In this key role, you will ensure that all products meet the required safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with quality control procedures and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits across production lines, facilities, and raw materials.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, and other industry standards.
  • Coordinate product testing and analyze results to drive improvements.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality control systems and training programs.
  • Report non-conformance and manage corrective actions as required.
  • Maintain thorough records of inspections, tests, and quality control procedures.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and relevant food safety standards; experience supplying to Coles or Woolworths is highly regarded.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of food testing methodologies is a plus.
