A place to make a difference:

In this part-time, maximum term position (24 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, until 30 June 2026) you'll support early childhood development and school readiness skills, and will facilitate improved relationships between parents and children. Working across different sites as part of our mobile service, you'll work in a team to create an environment of trust and respect with families and children. You'll be part of our QLD Programs team and report to our Team Leader.

You will make a difference by:

  • Assisting with the development and delivery of early learning programs
  • Working within a team to ensure programs are age and developmentally appropriate
  • Creating a welcoming and safe environment to encourage active participation
  • Growing an understanding of early learning amongst families and sharing your knowledge with community members

This role requires:

  • Certificate II in Children's Services or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 and families in a group setting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience facilitating group programs is desirable
