Executive Officer – Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre

Permanent Part-Time | 25 hours/week | Monday–Friday

Classification: SCHADS (Schedule 2B) Level 7.1

Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre (UBCC) is seeking an experienced Executive Officer to lead a passionate team and guide the strategic and operational direction of our vibrant, community-managed Neighbourhood House.

UBCC is a well-established not-for-profit organisation governed by a volunteer Committee of Governance (CoG). We deliver a wide range of programs and services that promote wellbeing, learning, and social connection. Our income streams include fee-for-service activities, an Early Learning Centre, room hire, recurrent government funding (Department of Families, Fairness & Housing), and periodic grants.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations, programs, and staff
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Drive community engagement, partnerships, and marketing
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and funding bodies
  • Support governance and strategic planning with the CoG
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Community Services, Welfare/Health, Counselling, Adult Education, or related fields
  • Demonstrated leadership in community services and development
  • Strong understanding of community organisation values and governance
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence, Police Check, and Working With Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
