OverviewThe Education Course Designer at AGSM, UNSW Business School, supports the design and development of digitally enabled learning, teaching, and assessment across MBA and Graduate Certificate programs. The role collaborates with academic and professional staff to create student-centred learning experiences, develop assessments and rubrics, and ensure courses align with program learning goals. The position contributes to continuous improvement, stays current with digital learning trends, provides guidance on best practices, and upholds UNSW values, policies, and health and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with academic and professional staff to design and develop digitally enabled learning, teaching, and assessment.
- Develop student-centred learning experiences and assessments, including rubrics, ensuring alignment with program learning goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of courses and stay current with digital learning trends and best practices.
- Provide guidance on design and delivery, upholding UNSW values, policies, and health and safety standards.
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience or equivalent competence through education, training and experience.
- Strong understanding of learning design principles, curriculum development, resource production, and trends in digital learning.
- Ability to advise and support staff on student-centred, active learning in multiple modes.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to work in diverse teams and liaise with various stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
- Strong time management; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with initiative.
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently, managing competing demands.
- Understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, values, and policies.
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and willingness to attend relevant training.
