We have an exciting position available for a Room Leader at a small sized family owned centre that prides itself on its strong community connections, with an emphasis on child protection, and high quality early learning education.
About The Centre
- Age Groups:
- Pre-school age group (3-5 years) with 20 children
- Environment: They aim to create a warm, home-like environment where children form secure bonds with educators and feel safe, supported, and engaged every day. The centre has both an indoor and outdoor play-based learning space, and includes incursion & excursion programs and activities. The centre has a large budget for resources, with great facilities for everyone to enjoy.
- Competitive Pay: Well above award rates with negotiation for higher rates available depending on expectation.
- Worker's Retention Payment: In addition the centre have opted into the WRP, and staff will be eligible for an additional 15% payment
- Shift Flexibility: Set shifts available (8:30-4:30, 9-5), with flexibility to suit your needs. Enjoy a 4 day working week with a weekly RDO, or work 5 days depending on your preferences
- Additional Leave: 6 weeks of paid leave annually for the right candidate. 2 extra weeks on top of the standard
- Programming Time: 2-3 hours dedicated off floor programing time weekly for each individual educator
- Centre opening hours: Centre opens 7:30am - 5:30pm daily meaning shorter days than most long day care centres.
- Centre Culture: Join a warm and welcoming team, where educators are encourage to upskill and grow.
- Open to Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs), and Working Towards ECT candidates
