Senior Claims Consultant - Property Liability

04-8-25 Sydney / Permanent

This role is with a leading insurance organisation known for its flexibility, commitment to employee development, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities :

  1. Manage a small, complex Property Liability claims portfolio (around 30 claims), ensuring the implementation of industry best practices.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting clear communication and efficient service delivery.
  3. Promote continuous improvement by staying updated with legislative changes and industry advancements.
  4. Manage high-risk, litigated claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective risk mitigation.
  5. Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their technical skills and foster professional development.

Skills & Experience :

  • Extensive property liability (third-party) claims experience.
  • Experience mentoring team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical proficiency and sound knowledge of liability claims legislation.
