The Opportunity

We're looking for Purchasing Officers to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end procurement — sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure our production teams have the right materials, on time, at the right quality and price.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure raw materials, components, fittings, appliances, and finished goods in line with production schedules
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to meet commercial objectives
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Finance teams to ensure supplier performance meets technical and operational requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing, and relevant regulations
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate purchasing data in the ERP system and report on supplier performance, lead times, and cost-saving initiatives

What We're Looking For
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, ideally in manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, preferably Acumatica and Smartsheet
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and raw material requirements
  • Experience with both local and international suppliers
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and committed to continuous improvement
