Electoral Commission SA (ECSA) is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst, who will be responsible for understanding business needs and working with stakeholders and partners to assess, plan and deliver business solutions that reduce risk, are cost effective and align with ECSA's ICT strategic direction and operational objectives.

The Senior Business Analyst will liaise and collaborate with ECSA branches, and with ICT service providers, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders as required.

Reporting to the Manager ICT, the Senior Business Analyst will:Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand their expectations, core service obligations, and operational business needs.

Manage the analysis and documentation of business requirements, including user needs, business needs and processes, solution analysis and design.

Lead and guide the analysis effort required to assess opportunities in line with agreed objectives and actions.Liaise with the broader ICT team to identify viable ICT options and solutions that meet stakeholder needs and requirements.Provide strategic advice to executive, managers and steering committees to guide the implementation of ICT initiatives.

Lead and manage project management activities.

Applications are encouraged from individuals with significant experience in undertaking business analysis for major projects specifically in an ICT environment, proven experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to lead and implement change in ICT systems.

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to a wide and diverse audience, the ability to develop high standard business and technical documentation and advanced analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills are essential to this role.

Special Conditions

This role is offered on an ongoing basisIn order not to compromise the strict neutrality of the Commission, no person who is active in political affairs or intends to carry on this activity may be an employee.

Employment is dependent upon a Criminal history check that the Commission finds satisfactory.

Extensive out of normal working hours duty may be required during the period of an election.Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.

Remuneration
ASO7 - $108,109 to $116,864 per annum
