Pay: $43.55 - $66.09 p/h (Depending on qualification & experience) + Super

Responsibilities
  • Ignite a love of learning in children, guiding their development with purposeful and energetic teaching practices.
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships with families to ensure every child feels a sense of belonging and is supported to thrive.
  • Mentor and inspire educational practices in your room, collaborating with the centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs.
  • Contribute to achieving outstanding outcomes for children through play-based, child-centered learning.
About Goodstart Aitkenvale

Goodstart Aitkenvale is located in Townsville, with easy access to shopping centres, parks, schools, and the Ross River. The centre is 75-place, Meeting-rated, operating 6:00am – 6:00pm, in the Pre-Kindergarten room (3–4 years).

Work alongside a Centre Director with over 20 years of sector experience and a dedicated team who share a passion for nurturing young minds.

You'll Need
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved).
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
  • Queensland – Registration (voluntary if eligible, not required).
