You Will
- Provide high-quality inpatient and ambulatory care at the Hospital and surrounding remote communities
- Participate in a flexible, negotiable roster including:
- 2 weeks inpatient ward coverage
- 2 weeks outpatient clinics and remote outreach
- Shared after-hours on-call responsibility
- Supervise and mentor a team of 5 junior doctors, including RACP Basic Trainees, Rural Generalist Trainees, and Interns
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists including ED FACEMs, Obstetricians, Psychiatrists, GPs, and Paediatricians
- Engage in teaching, simulation-based education, and professional development activities, supported by a state-of-the-art Simulation Lab
- Specialist Qualification Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or an equivalent qualification in Renal and General Medicine. (RACP assessed as substantially comparable).
- Indigenous Health Commitment Demonstrated interest in and commitment to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Ongoing Professional Development Evidence of ongoing participation in continuing education, clinical teaching, research, and quality assurance initiatives.
