Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to lead critical civil works on a major infrastructure project with VINCI. The role combines cost control, earned value management, risk management and integration with planning and scheduling teams in a dynamic matrix environment. The successful applicant will manage project controls across multiple zones, driving project performance and ensuring accurate financial data.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project cost control processes, including month-end close, accruals, cost recording, forecasting, earned value measurement, and related audits.
  • Monitor and report project performance with time, cost and resource tracking; provide proactive, clear reporting aligned with company policies.
  • Lead and supervise the project controls team, including training and guidance on systems and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams and delivery managers to gather data, analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and contribute to continuous improvement, benchmarking and lessons learned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture or Project Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in Construction, Engineering, Commercial Project / Cost Control, Earned Value, Risks Management, Change Control.
  • Multi-disciplined Commercial Project/Cost Control experience, ideally for Major Projects.
  • Leadership and management of Commercial Project/Cost Control teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Cost Control and Earned Value systems.
  • Current driver's license (C-class).
