PositionThe City is seeking a passionate and dedicated Ranger to join its team in a full-time position. We offer excellent facilities and equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service and work ethic and liaise with the community on Ranger-related compliance matters. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team that has a desire to be the best service in the state and continue to improve to meet our community's expectation and City objectives.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have strong customer service and work ethic and will liaise with the community on Ranger-related compliance matters, contributing to the City's objective of delivering high-quality service.
Qualifications- Completed and obtained a Certificate in Municipal Law Enforcement A & B or Regulatory Officer Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1 & 2
- Ability to interpret and enforce statutes, associated regulations, local laws and policies relevant to Ranger Services
- Experience with animal handling
- Advanced problem solving, investigation skills, conflict resolution, and negotiation and conciliation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management skills
- Work well within a team environment and committed to ongoing change
Salary: $85,331 – $99,660 per annum depending on skills and experience.
