The Berserker Tavern is on the hunt for an experienced Venue Manager to take the reins of this iconic local spot. With a fresh renovation in September, we're looking for a leader who can bring energy, passion, and top-tier customer experience to the table.

We're seeking a leader who is passionate about customer experience at a premium level, who can execute activations, build strong relationships within the local community, loves a bit of footy, and is keen to develop their team.

As Venue Manager, you'll orchestrate the day-to-day operations of our multifaceted venue. We're in search of an individual with a proven track record in managing high-volume food & beverage lead venues, adept at team leadership, and skilled in cultivating and nurturing strong management teams.

What's on Offer:

This role is based in Rockhampton QLD, offering a very strong remuneration package comprised of an excellent base salary circa $110,000 - $120,000 in addition to superannuation and an achievable performance bonus structure.

  • 5+ years of Venue Management experience
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems
  • P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials
  • Experience in a high-turnover customer service environment
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and strategic hospitality management
  • Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area & industry
  • Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
  • State based qualifications Approved Managers License
