Remuneration: $29.05 per hour + Annual Leave Loading + 11.5% Superannuation

We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaner/Porter to join our team for the afternoon to evening shift. This role is essential in keeping our facility clean, safe, and presentable for staff and visitors.

About The Role

Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.

Join a dedicated team at a hospital with over 70 years of service to both the veteran and wider community. This role includes a mix of cleaning, patient and equipment transport, and waste disposal. The daily tasks vary depending on hospital activity, requiring flexibility, independence, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene standards through effective hospital cleaning
• Safely transport patients and hospital equipment
• Properly manage and dispose of general, recycling, and clinical waste
• Adapt to different roles and locations within the hospital as required
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Previous cleaning or hospital support experience
• Comfortable using cleaning equipment (e.g., floor polishers)
• Aware of infection control practices and hygiene importance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be available to work 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, including some weekends if required
