What This Role Offers MeIn this role, I will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and families by supporting the delivery of the NDIS early childhood approach at a local level. I will work closely with families to help children reach their full potential through effective planning and support while also fostering meaningful connections within the community. Collaborating with a passionate team of professionals, I will contribute to positive outcomes through a flexible working arrangement that includes a mix of office, community, and home-based work.
Every day brings new opportunities to influence positive outcomes—whether it's navigating complex family dynamics, interpreting developmental assessments, or facilitating access to Early childhood supports through the NDIA. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where I can make a real difference in the lives of children and their families while growing both personally and professionally.
What I Will Be DoingAs a Coordinator, I will:
- Support families through a child and family-centred approach, ensuring children receive the appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
- Use mydiploma or higher qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Complete functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determining their needs and ensuring timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
- Connect families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance their social participation and access to essential services.
- Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
- Utilise the NDIS plan to support children and their families with improved choice, control, social participation, and overall quality of life.
I'm passionate about making a real difference—and this role lets me do exactly that.
- Customer Focus: Building positive, trusting relationships with children and families while meeting their needs.
- Trusted Expertise: My background in early childhood or allied health is valued and has a real, visible impact.
- Career Growth: Northcott supports my development within a purpose-driven, respected organisation.
- Real Rewards: Salary packaging, extra leave, and wellbeing support allow for balance and sustainability in the role.
- Inclusive Culture: I feel respected, heard, and supported in a culture that celebrates diversity and individuality.
To apply for the position, please submit your updated resume along with a brief cover letter highlighting your relevant skills and experience, with applications closing on the 8th of August.
Northcott will review candidates throughout the recruitment process, likely before the close date and you will be advised of an outcome. For general enquiries about the role you are applying for, please email [emailprotected] .
