We are seeking a motivated and strategic Pedagogy Coach to work with teachers, teacher aides and students in Years 5 - 8. This temporary position commences in term 4 until the end of Semester 1, 2026. Join the dedicated team at Townsville Community Learning Centre (TCLC) in Mundingburra. TCLC is a State Special School that supports students aged 6-18 with severe intellectual and multiple impairments, focusing on equipping students for lifelong learning and helping them fulfil valued roles in a changing world.
At TCLC, Pedagogy Coaches are valued members of the School Leadership Team. A vital part of the role is working with teachers and teacher aides to ensure the continued delivery of quality pedagogy throughout the school sector.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with teachers and teacher aides to deliver high-quality pedagogy for students in Years 5–8.
- Support students with diverse learning needs to maximise their potential.
- Contribute to the School Leadership Team and support school-wide improvement in pedagogy.
- Work within the High Performance Schools Program framework as a Pedagogy Coach.
- A relevant teaching qualification.
- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment.
- In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services.
- Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers may be subject to successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
