Gatehouse Security Officer - Casual - Level 3 - Richlands at Securitas Australia

Salary: $35.48 - $41.63
Job Type: Casual

Responsibilities
  • Provide a security service in line with the site SOPs and client's requirements to protect employees, property and assets.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service aligned with Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
  • Site patrols, access control and incident response around the site.
  • Greet visitors and employees, issue keys/cards to authorized contractors and monitor activities for safety and compliance.
  • Protection of people and property.
  • Report writing; Microsoft applications, advanced use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Monitor and use CCTV applications, Emergency Management and Fire Systems.
  • Approximately 90% of the role involves data entry (computer proficiency is essential).
Qualifications
  • Must have a valid QLD Security License
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Valid Driver's License & Car
  • Excellent communication skills, punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proactive with discretion and confidentiality
  • Previous gatehouse experience is desirable but not compulsory
