About The Role

The City is seeking a strategic minded Transport Planner (Urban Engineer) with a passion to deliver high-quality, innovative transport and place planning outcomes for our growing community.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing policies, strategies and projects in relation to transport planning and place planning. In this role you will work closely with a highly skilled and diverse team. You will lead and implement the City's Movement and Place Framework, to champion the vision of a regional city 'emerging and on the move'.

About You

The ideal candidate will have qualifications and experience in transport planning, transport engineering, urban planning, or urban design, with strong knowledge of NSW legislation and road safety standards. A White Card and Class C driver's licence are required, along with excellent communication, report writing, community consultation, project management, and technical problem-solving skills.
