The Company:

What We're Looking For:
You will be able to represent the company in a professional manner and to carry out the tasks allocated to ensure that all works are completed to our customers' satisfaction and to maintain and enhance Steamatic's reputation. To be available to respond to restoration works as required and stipulated in the current Australian Workplace Agreement

The Role:
This position would entail assisting in the cleaning and restoration of insurance, commercial, industrial and domestic jobs including but not limited to fire, water, mold, general, HVAC, blasting/laser, biohazard, contents, carpet, hard floors and other specialised cleaning duties.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company professionally and maintain a clean uniform and appearance.
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow job instructions and complete restoration works to required quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct on-site risk and safety assessments and complete OH&S documentation.
  • Supervise and train staff, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in on-call rosters and attend emergency jobs, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Complete accurate job records, paperwork, and inventory documentation.
  • Report and manage damaged or faulty equipment.
  • Maintain required industry certifications and technical skills.
  • Lead small to large projects from start to completion.

  • A strong focus and commitment to quality, attention to detail, customer service and presentation.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments, with an ability to set realistic goals, problem-solve and establish work priorities.
  • Demonstrated intermediate competence using Steamatic propriety computer software programs and ability to navigate and learn new computer programs.
  • Demonstrated competence using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, in a professional and concise manner.
  • Ability to cover for other staff when they are absent.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and restoration practices, procedures and systems and a working knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Manual Handing (up to 30 kg)
  • Vehicle Driving & Valid Driver Licence
