The Opportunity: Ampcontrol are on the search for a keen and enthusiastic Electrician who wants to take their career to the next level with our unique Engineering Organisation. You will join our Mackay Electrical Services Operation, on a permanent full time basis. This role is diverse in many areas of electrical manufacturing and offers exposure to OEM equipment manufacture and process – no two jobs are the same

Typical Duties Include:
  1. Electrical equipment assembly and maintenance
  2. Panel and PLC wiring
  3. Installation of HV switchgear and components
  4. Overhaul and inspection of Ex d equipment
  5. Transformer overhauls

What We Are Looking For:

Your strong service-oriented mindset, coupled with excellent time management skills, will be complemented by the following:

  1. Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
  2. Electrical Trade Certificate is essential
  3. High voltage and/or electrical mining machinery experience
  4. Experience working within a high risk environment
  5. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to join a fun and hard working team, with a passion for what they do and how they do it

These roles are not offered as FIFO positions therefore you must reside in Mackay, QLD or be willing to relocate to Mackay to be successful.
