We provide specialised integrated logistics services to customers in a range of industries including mining, chemical, gases, steel and plastics, petroleum, energy and Australian oil and gas industries and agriculture. We are seeking a dynamicNational Manager – Gasesto oversee and drive the success of our Gases logistics operations. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the seamless coordination of safety, strategic, and operational plans, while managing the right portfolio of resources to deliver a profitable and high-performing business.
As the primary executive operational representative to our major Gases customer, you will play a key role in fostering strong partnerships and delivering exceptional service. You will also champion 'The Toll Way', embedding a unified culture of safety, people, customer focus, and operational excellence across the organisation.
This role can be based in either Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.
As the National Manager – Gases, you will:
- Drive Safety Culture - Lead the implementation of Toll's Safety Obsessed program, fostering a culture of care, accountability, and rigorous safety risk management.
- Operational Leadership - Oversee all logistics operations related to Gases contracts, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and standardised processes.
- Team & Culture Development - Provide inspirational leadership to build a high-performance team and a positive workplace culture focused on collaboration, capability uplift, and continuous improvement.
- Resource & Asset Management - Ensure optimal allocation of people, systems, financial resources, and assets to meet operational plans and drive productivity.
- Customer & Commercial Focus - Build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and apply commercial acumen to deliver sustainable, profitable partnerships.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Champion initiatives that simplify processes, eliminate waste, and enhance value and profit performance across customer contracts.
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in logistics or business-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated management experience in transport, logistics or related industry
- Strong knowledge with WA HVA (Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Accreditation) and AMMS (Accredited Mass Management Scheme) are fulfilled or in accordance with other relevant state legislation.
