As Senior Tax Accountant, you'll play a critical role in supporting our rapid global expansion and AI transformation journey. Reporting to the Lead Tax Manager, you'll ensure tax compliance excellence across multiple jurisdictions while contributing to the financial foundation that enables our innovation. This role combines technical tax expertise with the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge AI tools to transform traditional tax processes. Working within our finance team, you'll manage complex tax obligations for a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of the AI revolution.

What You'll Create Impact

• Support the preparation and lodgement of all direct and indirect tax obligations across Quantium's 14 global locations, ensuring excellence in compliance while navigating the complexities of multiple tax jurisdictions
• Drive tax process transformation: Leverage AI tools and automation to revolutionise tax processes, implementing improvements in GST/VAT and FBT compliance that increase efficiency and accuracy
• Enable strategic decision-making: Prepare year-end tax calculations, deferred tax computations, and financial report disclosures that provide critical insights for our expansion into new markets and AI product commercialisation
• Provide advisory excellence: Deliver timely tax advice and research to support our AI transformation initiatives, strategic partnerships, and new business models across consulting and product offerings

Required Experience And Capabilities

• Professional qualification (CA, CPA or CTA)
• 3-5 years of tax compliance experience (Australian tax returns, GST/VAT returns, FBT returns essential)
• Experience managing tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to communicate with people at all levels
• Desirable experience with Dynamic 365
• Interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance tax processes and efficiency
