Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Senior Tax Accountant for an on-site position in Sydney, NSW. In this role, you will oversee tax compliance, prepare tax documents, and manage financial reporting. Responsibilities include completing and submitting tax returns, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, reviewing financial statements, and offering strategic tax planning guidance. You will work closely with clients and collaborate with our accounting team to provide exceptional tax and financial services.

Qualifications and Desired Characteristics

  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Strong rapport building skills with clients
  • Ambitious and a go-getter
  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax regulations
  • Ability to analyse and prepare Financial Statements
  • Strong background in Accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent with Xero and XPM
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CA/CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role preferred
