Yard Maintenance Person – Scaffold Yard

We are currently looking for a hands-on and reliable Yard Maintenance Person to join our scaffold yard team on a casual basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)

  • Perform general yard duties and assist with daily operations
  • Keep the yard clean, well-organized, and hazard-free at all times
  • Maintain fleet presentation, including basic vehicle cleaning and upkeep
  • Support drivers and operations staff as required
  • Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas
  • Fuel, clean, and prepare plant and machinery for use
  • Carry out minor repairs on tools and small plant where possible
  • Assist with inventory control and general workshop support

What We're Looking For
  • A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or in a team
  • Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks as needed
