Grassports Australia specializes in the construction of synthetic sporting and recreational facilities across Australia, with occasional international projects. With around 50 full-time staff based in Melbourne, we handle construction projects ranging from $1,000 to $5 million. We have the authorization to develop world-class sports fields certified for various top-tier sports associations including FIFA, FIH, ITA, IRL, and AFL. Grassports has built thousands of tennis courts, numerous school projects, and other recreational areas. We also offer comprehensive maintenance services with specialist machinery and skilled operators, recognized as leaders in our field.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Synthetic Grass Installation Foreman located on-site in Melbourne, VIC. The Synthetic Grass Installation Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the installation of synthetic grass surfaces, managing installation teams, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met, and coordinating with clients and suppliers. Additional duties include site preparation, equipment management, troubleshooting on-site issues, and maintaining safety protocols.

  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and site preparation
  • Ability to handle specialist installation equipment
  • A valid driver's license
  • Relevant certifications or training in civil construction or turf management are a plus
