About ACC Darling Downs
Our Darling Downs campus in Hilbert is a K-10 co-educational Christian school with a spacious, modern campus set in peaceful, semi-rural surroundings. Requirements
About the role
We are seeking Christian staff to join our property maintenance team, providing groundskeeping and property maintenance services. This part-time role (45.6 hours per fortnight) is expected to start in Term 4, 2025.
Duties include:
- Landscaping work
- Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds
- Routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs
- Providing feedback for planning and development of school grounds
- Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials
- Assisting with setting up significant school events
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- (Bus driving is desirable but not essential)
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Valid Working with Children Check
- An authentic Christian who lives out their faith and attends church regularly
- A friendly person with good interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality for timely service
- Experience in groundskeeping and maintenance in a school environment is desirable
