In this role, you will be an Account Manager for a portfolio of around small business customers based in Queensland. These could include emerging eCommerce businesses, B2B manufacturing firms, or any business utilizing freight services.

The opportunity for you as an inside sales representative is to work to exceed your sales targets and benefit from a market-leading sales incentive scheme, abundant career progression opportunities, and a positive, fun team environment.

You will collaborate with a team of customer-obsessed account managers and will be responsible for establishing and managing the commercial relationships within your portfolio. You will be trusted, equipped with the necessary tools, and given autonomy to treat your portfolio as your own growth business, taking ownership of your customers.

To be successful, you will:

  • Drive revenue growth through contract renewal negotiations.
  • Retain and delight customers by helping them navigate our business and customer service infrastructure.
  • Engage with customers regularly to understand their upcoming business needs.
  • Expand existing contracts, increase share of wallet, and identify new opportunities for products and services.
  • Make sales calls to new businesses and lapsed customers to bring them into your portfolio and achieve, or surpass, your revenue targets.

The experience and character needed are:

  • Proactive sales experience, with a track record of developing business or making sales.
  • High motivation, ability to work autonomously, and decision-making skills focused on revenue growth.
  • Ability to seize opportunities, hunt for new business, and be a proactive team player. A desire to grow, develop, and actively participate in sales activities in the office.

You should have a strong growth mindset, constantly seeking ways to improve and exceed sales targets, and take charge of your own development.
