Perth, Western Australia NES Fircroft Full time

NES Fircroft is seeking Boilermakers with coded welding experience to work with our Tier 1 mining client.

Roster: 2/2 (7 days, 7 nights, 14 days off) – Days and nights
Hourly rate: $65 per hour + Super
Contract Length: 6 to 12 months, with potential for permanency based on performance

About you:

  • Experience in fixed plant maintenance, ideally wet plant iron ore and other commodities
  • Ability to weld according to AS1554 procedures (FCAW 3F, 4F; MMAW 3G, 4G)
  • Maintenance experience with cone crushers, thickeners, pumps, gearbox rebuilds, valves, screens, scrubbers, and conveyors
  • Australian recognised trade certificate
  • Valid C Class manual license
  • Current High Risk Work License (ideal) – EWP, Rigging, Dogging, Telehandler, non-slewing crane

Your typical swing:

  • Maintenance and repairs of large-scale mining equipment
  • Permit, lock-out, and isolation systems and procedures
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure plant reliability and availability
  • Maintaining high safety standards and continuous improvement practices
