Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Vice President – Asia Pacific, the Director Service Delivery, Asia Pacific will have a dual responsibility: to lead the delivery team ensuring that the process both internally and externally from commencement of delivery of projects through implementation, testing and support is seamless and of best-practice standard. The team should be practicing proven implementation, development and consulting methodologies and technologies. Your efforts will result in customers utilising Hexagon's solutions to achieve their required business objectives with delivery on time, on budget and at the required level of quality. You will be a key conduit between the business and service delivery teams, interacting with other teams in the organisation to continuously achieve the planned business outcomes.

The individual performing this role must have a strong background in strategy and planning, be experienced leading programs of work and service delivery teams, driving and defining the technology and operational standards across the delivery organisation. It is also your responsibility for the approval, maintenance and compliance with the existing Information Security Management System for the renewal of the ISO:27001 certification and other security audits.

As the Director of Service Delivery, you will be viewed as a trusted advisor and leader in the industry who will direct and mentor; you will direct recruiting, counselling and competency development across your teams. You will provide advice and governance across the team to ensure that they adhere to standards and understand where they may need to evolve. The ability to collaborate across the business and at different levels ensuring you work seamlessly with account managers and support teams to the delivered solutions is critical to the success of the role.

OBJECTIVES/MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Lead the service delivery team to delivery best-practice development, delivery and support to all customers
  • Assure the alignment of IT strategy with business objectives through planning, implementation and execution
  • Lead and mentor through collaboration - Identify blockers, challenges and risks and take steps to close issues and make quick decisions
  • Ensure integrity and consistency across the delivery of solutions
  • Ensure all project and support work undertaken is of a high-quality standard where high customer satisfaction levels are achieved and maintained
  • Assist technical and operational decision makers in making the correct decisions for the project and the wider team on technology choice and approach
  • Skills, knowledge gap analysis to ensure that the team possesses what is required within the current business environment as well as upskilling to keep up with future needs and cross-skilling to optimise efficiency
  • Develop the team, ensuring that there is a career path for each team member which includes conducting performance reviews
  • Succession plan in place for this role and key roles within the team
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the Information Security Management System (ISMS) supports the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of information assets; allocate necessary resources; approve key information security policies; and ensure that information security is integrated into the organization's overall business objectives and risk management framework.
Education / Qualifications
  • Contribute to the achievement of Asia Pacific's Corporate contribution target
  • Introduce efficiencies to drive costs down
  • Achieving revenue target Leadership
  • Performance Reviews in place for all team members (which consist of SMART objectives)
  • Development plan in place for you and all team members as well as demonstrable coaching and mentoring for the team
  • Team skills gap analysis completed and mitigation plan in place
  • Succession plan in place for this role and other key roles in the team
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in technology and/or business
  • 7+ years service delivery and program of work management, experience across a range of software technology
  • 7+ years of effective people leadership experience
  • Experience driving productivity, quality and the overall output of a large team
  • Able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including the technical teams and clients
  • Exposure to Project Management elements, including solution design, forecast resources and estimation
  • Knowledge of IT governance and operations
  • Ideally from a complex service oriented organisation or software vendor, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of commercial and IT business practises including project budgeting and financial management experience

  • Exceptional planning, organisational, analytical, problem-solving and consultation skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
  • Ability to think about the customer business in a way that is abstracted from how business functions are implemented by technology
  • Consulting mindset, which allows to support the strategy development of customer solutions
  • Ability to understand customers\' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems using creative solutions that meet both customer and company objectives
  • Ability to communicate and present to the customer articulately and confidently
