We are seeking an experienced and passionate School Administration Officer to join our dynamic team in designing the department's new Human Capital Management Solution (HCMS). This includes functions like recruitment, onboarding, workforce analytics, and employee self-service tools. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise to shape the system's design and inform change activities that will support school staff in integrating the HCMS across our organisation. Your Role

User experience is at the heart of everything we do with HCMS and we need the expertise of school staff to help inform the design, build and implementation of our new system. As a Project Officer, you will contribute to ensuring end-user experience is considered by :

• Assisting in providing subject matter expertise to all project phases.
• Working collaboratively with project teams to ensure end-user experience is considered at all stages.
• Supporting the refinement of requirements based on school needs, including any required integration to other department systems.
• Contributing to advice on change management activities to help reach audiences and objectives.
• Helping to identify potential risks and issues.
• Participating in testing.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Participate in a range of project teams to support the development of implementation strategies and assist in delivering services.
• Assist in coordinating projects and delivering services, using recent experience and thorough knowledge to deliver initiatives and strategies.
• Assist in developing resources and programs that support high-quality practice and partnerships by gathering information and presenting alternatives to deliver best outcomes.
• Conduct research and analysis, often under guidance, to interpret information and contribute to developing options and recommendations.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and work in collaboration to provide information and advice within agreed state wide frameworks and processes.

About You

• Experienced School Administration Office within Queensland State Schools
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of current challenges faced in the school environment.
• Be a proactive and adaptable thinker that offers practical solutions to problems.
