The Role

Lead the Community and Stakeholder Engagement function on this renewable energy project based in Geelong. You will be the voice of our project connecting our team to the community and interested stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community and stakeholder collateral for internal and external audiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with residents, property owners and business operators.
  • Develop and deliver regular stories for project updates, social media, website, and report cards including considering visual assets and opportunities.
  • Organise and attend community events, meetings and face-to-face engagement.
  • Maintain good relationships with the project team to build your awareness of construction and ensure activities are undertaken in a timely manner to minimise impacts and disruption.
  • Develop and deliver internal communications including blogs, stories and events.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Communication, Public Relations, or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in Community and Stakeholder Engagement roles in major infrastructure projects, is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high quality collateral across various channels while managing competing demands and deadlines.
  • Proven verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and ability to develop and build relationships with community and stakeholders.
  • Graphic design experience is desirable.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Samsung C&T values and behaviours.
  • Drivers Licence
