About the Position

The Production Tradesperson Operates a range of production machinery. When required, the team will conduct fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities.

About Thales

As part of Thales Australia, Australian Munitions is the largest manufacturer of explosive ordnance to the Australian Defence Force, with a successful track record delivering ammunition, propellants, explosives and related services, including acid production and industrial waste treatment to Defence and commercial markets.

From day one, you will need

  • Certificate III in Engineering in one of the following fields:

    • Fitter and Machinist

    • Mechanical

    • Fabrication

  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Well-developed fault-finding and diagnostic skills
