Their dynamic services empower individuals to live, learn, and thrive in an ever-changing world.Their specialist further education and training college in Newcastle upon Tyne provides high-quality education for young people aged 16-25 with learning difficulties and disabilities, including cerebral palsy, communication and sensory impairments, and complex needs such as Autism Spectrum Conditions. The college offers individualised programmes to develop communication, independence, and employability skills, supporting successful transitions into adulthood.The RoleWe are seeking a passionate and adaptable Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Therapy team at our client's college. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dedicated, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering best practice and driving service development to meet the evolving needs of students. As a key member of the team, you will:

  • Support young adults with learning and physical disabilities to develop greater independence in their daily lives.
  • Utilise expertise in areas such as postural management, specialist equipment, sensory profiling, or sensory assessments.
  • Contribute to a vibrant, team-oriented environment focused on delivering individualised, high-quality support.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with complex needs and a passion for teamwork, innovation, and improving outcomes for young people.
