Role: Ultrasound Technologist Vascular - PRN at Community Health Network. The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.
Responsibilities- Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.
- Exceptional communication and patient care skills aptitude toward the team philosophy
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Basic computer skills
- Sterile procedure
- Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary
- Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures
- Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique
- Meets all computer and documentation competencies
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- License Required: Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification is required within 24 months of obtaining position)
- Registered Vascular Tech within 1 year
