The Role

The Admissions Department at St George Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer Level 3.
This is a busy and dynamic department with many competing demands. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of surgery waitlists and elective admissions. You will be required to provide a professional, high quality customer service to patients, visitors and staff.

Selection Criteria
Previous administrative experience preferably in a hospital/health care setting.Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take responsibility for role specific deadlinesExperience of responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environmentHigh level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to providing quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and proceduresPrevious experience using electronic patient administration systems (eg. eMR Outpatient Clinic Scheduler, Surginet and iPM) or willingness to learnDemonstrated initiative to problem solveDemonstrated attention to detailNeed more information?
