Sr Technical Architect will
  • Serve as the technical lead for data science architecture and development across customer programs. Lead, guide and mentor data scientists who work with technology platforms including Azure, Azure AI platform, Azure services, and data platforms.
  • Collaborate with Cyient technology teams, Digital Architects, Data Science / Data Engineers / Gen AI specialists to ensure traditional AI and Gen AI capabilities accelerate product innovation and internal tooling velocity within customer environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and oversee Traditional AI and Governed AI solutions across Mining domains.
  • Collaborate with Tech BAs / Business owners to translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready architectures.
  • Define and maintain architectural standards for model delivery, documentation, and deployment (e.g., Azure Open AI, Azure AI search, MLOps & GenAI integration).
  • Leverage, customize and implement Gen AI models, algorithms, and methodologies to improve the quality of Gen AI products, applications and systems.
  • Design, build, and implement robust data science architectures and frameworks.
  • Analyze and make appropriate technological choices for AI solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 12-15 years in data science, data engineering or architecture roles, with at least 3 years in enterprise architect capacity.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying Traditional AI and Generative AI solutions at scale in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, model lifecycle management, and enterprise integration.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
Must Have Skills
  • Python, R, SQL, AI/ML, Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS), Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search (indexing, retrieval augmented generation - RAG), and other AI services.
  • Ability to set up and manage DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Azure Web Apps and backend services.
  • Understanding of Azure resource groups, virtual networks (VNETs), private endpoints, and core Azure services relevant to your stack (Azure Web App, APIM, AI Foundry).
  • Experience in Generative AI technologies and frameworks.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Big Data Technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
