Logistics Operions Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Operations Manager (Fuel & Transport) to lead our fuel distribution and transport operations across WA. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our logistics functions run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Role/Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of fuel distribution and transport logistics, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• Manage fleet scheduling, routing, and resource utilisation to meet customer demands.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (WAHVA, NHVA, Chain of Responsibility, Fatigue Management, SLP).
• Lead and support operational teams, including drivers, office staff, and contractors.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports for senior management.
• Manage operational costs, including invoicing, payroll checks, and subcontractor expenses.
• Support job pricing, quoting, and documentation processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in fuel logistics (e.g., mini tankers) and transport operations (essential)
• Strong knowledge of WAHVA, NHVA, Chain of Responsibility, Fatigue Management & SLP compliance
• Leadership experience managing operational teams and contractors
• Proficient in logistics software (e.g., MTDATA, Insphire) and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills
• Solid understanding of fleet scheduling, compliance, and cost control
• Valid driver's licence
