Your role and responsibilities

As a managing consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner working collaboratively with clients to deliver high-quality solutions and be a trusted business advisor with a deep understanding of SAP Accelerate delivery methodology or equivalent and associated work products. You will lead design workshops, support business development activities, and mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge. Your primary responsibilities include:

  1. Strategic SAP Solution Leadership: Leading the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity, amplification, and maintainability that meet client needs.
  2. Team Delivery Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing team of SAP consultants to deliver work products on time, budget, and quality.
  3. Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy development and solution implementation, leveraging your functional expertise of SAP with clients and team members and working with the latest technologies.

As an experienced SAP consultant at IBM Consulting, you will deliver innovative business solutions through design, build, and test, including systems integration. You will leverage your subject matter expertise and your experience to ensure successful project delivery and client success. We would like you to have a solid SAP Finance & Controlling background with a focus on Project Systems, with at least five years' experience, ideally in an international consulting environment. Strong experience in process design, planning, and managing execution of the build. Experience in the S/4 Finance and Controlling solutions is also a must.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Be an Australian citizen
  • Must hold an active AGSVA baseline security

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive demonstrable SAP S/4 HANA experience including at least five years' experience
  • Strong knowledge in SAP Finance & Controlling area focusing on the Project Systems module.
  • Experience working with BI & Analytics as the role will require working with the BI & Analytics team to complete design.
  • Experience with Functional Unit Testing.
  • Customization experience of SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling Solution and understanding of core data structures and data flows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting options to resolve the problem.
  • An ability to identify, develop, and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the business.
