Job Description

Job Summary:

As an Editorial Producer, you'll help drive direct-to-consumer travel insurance sales across Zurich Cover-More's APAC brands (Cover-More Australia, Cover-More New Zealand, and Blue Insurance Australia). You'll create engaging short-form content, ensuring brand consistency, alignment with positioning, and legal compliance.

This role combines creativity and strategic thinking, requiring experience as a digital or brand copywriter and the ability to adapt content across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Head of Content and D2C team to create and implement content strategies.
  2. Produce engaging short-form content across multiple channels (email, social media, app, SMS, website).
  3. Work with marketing, design, and product teams to drive customer engagement and conversions.
  4. Generate fresh content ideas and briefs for internal/external content producers.
  5. Edit, proofread, and ensure content aligns with legal standards and brand tone.
  6. Manage content calendar and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
  7. Co-manage content publishing across websites (Cover-More, Blue Insurance) to drive engagement.
  8. Ensure content is compliant, on-brand, and meets customer needs.
  9. Gather product insights from teams to improve content and address customer pain points.
  10. Monitor content performance and report metrics weekly and monthly.
  11. Analyze content effectiveness and refine messaging for better engagement.
  12. Ensure content is relevant, clear, and consistent with each brand's voice.

What you'll bring:

  1. 5+ years of copywriting experience, ideally 2+ years in an agency setting.
  2. Proven ability to write clear, engaging short-form content for various digital platforms (email, app, social, SMS, website).
  3. Strong creative writing, sub-editing, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to simplify complex information and tailor messaging to target audiences.
  5. Proficient in CMS, content production, and tools like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GA4, and basic HTML.
  6. Experience in highly regulated industries is a plus. Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including customer journey and funnel stages.
  7. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their role in achieving business objectives.
  8. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling copy in various brand voices.
  9. Meticulous attention to detail, especially with grammar and style (Australian Style Guide preferred).
  10. Proactive, flexible, and self-starting with a sense of ownership.
  11. Curious about enhancing the travel experience through content and improving customer engagement.
  12. Familiarity with travel or insurance sectors is desirable, but willingness to learn is key.
  13. Capable of designing content strategies aligned with team and company goals.
