Role Description
This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a Global Business Development Manager, working remotely from anywhere around the globe and reporting according to two timezones - Australia and India. The Global Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing international business opportunities, developing business plans, and managing international marketing, digital marketing, and sales. The role includes maintaining relationships with key clients, conducting market research, and working closely with the marketing and sales teams. Daily tasks involve strategic planning, negotiating contracts, and presenting reports to the senior management team.
Detailed job description:
- Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends. Use insights to inform the development of new services and strategies.
- Sales & Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand Buddy4Travel's customer base. This includes targeting potential clients, generating leads, conducting presentations, and closing deals.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the travel and tourism sectors, including travel agencies, airlines, tour operators, and other relevant businesses. Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships that enhance Buddy4Travel's value proposition.
- Client Relationship Management: Work closely with existing clients to understand their needs, ensure satisfaction, and uncover additional opportunities for collaboration. Ensure long-term customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Proposal & Contract Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contractual agreements to prospective clients. Ensure that all deals align with the company's objectives and terms.
- Collaboration with Marketing & Product Teams: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align business development strategies with product offerings. Provide valuable feedback and insights to improve Buddy4Travel's services and customer experience.
- Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking: Track business development activities, maintain sales pipelines, and provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasting, and market trends. Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a representative of Buddy4Travel's brand and values in all business development activities. Ensure that all communications and engagements reflect the company's mission to offer exceptional travel solutions.
Qualifications
- International Business Development and International Marketing skills
- Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus
- Master's, Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (experience may be considered instead of degree in some cases)
