We are currently recruiting for an Assembler / Forklift Driver for our client based in Sutherland Shire with an immediate start.

About The Role :

  • Your main tasks will include refurbishing and grading a variety of appliances, removing certain components from products such as high-end vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, hair dryers, and hand dryers using electrical screwdrivers/drills.
  • The smaller components will be repackaged and sent to customers/clients or reattached to other semi-complete products and repackaged for sale.
  • You will also be required to drive a Counter Balance Forklift when needed to load and unload trucks and move stock around the warehouse.
  • All training will be provided, but experience in assembly work and forklift driving is a MUST.
  • Working full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
  • Paying $33 an hour PLUS super.

About You :

  • Previous experience in warehouse or assembly work (or similar environment).
  • MUST have good experience with forklifts and a current license.
  • Be physically fit – lifting up to 10 kg max.
  • Have great attention to detail and accuracy, dealing with small parts and following instructions.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Immediately available.
